Swartbroek is situated in beautiful surroundings with the Krang nature reserve as its centre.
It used to be a swampy area. Due to the drying up of some parts, sand ridges have arisen on which, among other things, Swartbroek has been built. The area has a nice variation of fens and dry areas. At various places you will find wooden footpaths through the beautiful nature reserve.
On this route you pass the beautiful Tungelroyse Beek, where you walk over a bat bridge. You will also pass the windmill De Hoop and enter the centre of Swartbroek, where you will find a war cemetery. The route is a nice alternation of bushes, greenery and views. Dogs are welcome, but on a leash.
