Beauty and peace
This area is bordered by an extensive area of shifting dunes. Largely this was planted with Scots pine in the past. The wood was used as mine wood.
The forest area is mainly a resting area. Its vastness is striking. Except for horse riders, also hikers and bikers make use of the beauty and quietness of the Heldense forests.
