The Pottehuuskes
As a guest of De Pottehuuskes, you may be staying in the smallest and most unknown beguinage in the Netherlands! The courtyard was built in 1770-1771 by order of the chapter of Thorn abbey. At the back of the houses runs the Itterbeek. At the front - where there is now an open-air theater in summer - was a beautiful courtyard garden, which bordered a building with four identical houses of the college. Pottehuuske Sister Josephine has a cozy living room and a modern, fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor. Upstairs are the bathroom and two bedrooms, one of which has two separate beds.
