The Premium Hiking Trail Beesel: Huilbeek & Maas is the 10th route in the successful series from the Maas-Swalm-Nette Border Park.
The trail partially runs over unpaved paths, so it's recommended to wear waterproof hiking boots. This route is characterized by a landscape shaped by water and wind, fitting perfectly with the “water” theme that connects all the premium hiking trails.
The Maas landscape provides a great habitat for many birds, amphibians, insects, and mammals. In this area, you can find animals such as badgers, foxes, and hares. You can also clearly see signs of beavers actively shaping the landscape.
